Machine Records' earliest releases were all distributed primarily as special CD-R limited editions. We aimed to make each CD-R a work of art in its own right.

We have five original 2004 versions of JR and The Instrument Panel's Radio Dada 3. It features beautiful original artwork created by the artists and printed on high-quality photographic paper, nestled inside a clear plastic slipcase.

The CD-R disc has a full-face printed top. Thanks to the plastic slipcase and careful storage, it remains in brand new condition.

about

Like 'Holiday on Earth', The Instrument Panel's debut solo album, 'Radio Dada 3' plunges the listener into a densely populated, complex sonic landscape with little in the way of conventional musical structures.

Growing out of improvised sessions between James Richards (JR) and The Instrument Panel, this remarkable album leaves the lasting impression of a ritualistic, almost sacramental approach to sound.

If the four-tracked layers of found sound are joined here by more conventional electronic elements, the result is no less challenging and original and, for all its initial difficulty, with further listening 'Radio Dada 3' brings immense rewards.
